This 22 minute video details step by step how you can replace a zipper on a hydration pack, by hand. It gives tips and tricks to avoid common mistakes. No sewing machine required. Often times a sewing machine can’t be used on a pack without dismantling the entire pack, so this is an effective and practical way to repair a broken zipper. It shows how to install a replacement zipper, cut it to length, and what tools you will need.
