About Us

Who are we?

Well, right now, it’s just me—Linda. I’m the owner, the sewer, the designer, and basically the person wearing all the hats for Achievement Repair and Gear. I’ve been part of the ultra and trail running community for over 15 years. I have a personal understanding of what runners need and what’s missing from the market.

I recently returned to school for my fashion design certificate, and I’m just about done with school. I am putting the pieces in place now to officially launch my business this summer, 2026. I’m diving into this new adventure, but before all of this, I spent 35 years as an occupational therapist, where I honed my ability to develop individualized functional solutions. Now, I’m bringing that same problem-solving mindset to performance gear and apparel.

I’m Linda, and I am actively building Achievement Repair and Gear.

Find me at local races and trail meet ups

I do custom work at reasonable prices that actually save you money. I focus on durability, function, and extending the life of gear that already works. The best gear is the gear that meets your needs and lasts. Holes, zippers, and secure storage solutions are my primary focus with some limited work on special projects. I give free estimates, and advice. I can help you decide when to repair and when to replace your gear. I meet my clients out on the trail, at races and meet up groups. The Events page shows the local races where I will be volunteering, but note, if I am volunteering the runners come first. So email me to coordinate so I can give you the time you deserve.

You can contact me directly at achievementrandg@icloud.com

Find out more about the business

Visit the Achievement Repair and Gear page to find out about our mission, vision and values. The business is being build in real time. I’m finishing school right now, Spring 2026, and working on the steps needed to start the business. I’m learning how to build a website, which is still a work in progress. I will be adding more written and video content very soon and hope to teach others how to fix their own gear. I will have a stronger presence at races going forward too. I’ve got the sewing down, it’s turning everything into a business that I’m still working on. So keep checking back and leave a comment – it would be great to see something other than spam.
