In this video, I show you step by step how to add two secure zipper pockets to a jacket that doesn’t have them. I add the pockets to a windbreaker using two basic 8″ nylon coil zippers that I modify for the project, along with lightweight fabric for the pocket bags. Intermediate sewing skills are required for this project. At the end of the video I discuss the time it takes to complete the projects and tips to cut the time and make the project more successful. I use a sewing machine and a serger for this project.
