I do custom sewing, alterations, and repairs services for running clothing and gear.
You got a hole or rip in your tights? I can mend it.
You got a broken zipper? I can fix it, even if it is on your hydration pack and it won’t fit on a sewing machine. Regular alterations shops won’t touch it. And, I would be worried if they did. I know how much that pack cost, let’s keep it out of the landfill and save you some money.
Something is chafing? I can make that better too. A better fit and a smoother seam can make a world of difference.
I’m a runner, I understand how it feels to step into the shower with post run chafing!
Custom sewing saves you money
Fix what you have and make it better. I have extremely reasonable rates, but I need to see your project and talk to you about it. That’s why I go to so many meet ups, races and limit my service area to the Sacramento to Auburn area. I’m part of the community and I realize how under served we are.
Below is an example of what I do, but I need to expand this page, as I do so much more. (I do all my own sewing, but if I can coach you through your own fix, that’s a win in my book).
Adding Zipper Pockets:
If you wish your jacket or something else had a pocket, they can be added after the fact.
I also add bound slits to long sleeve tops so you can look at your watch while your sleeve is down and your thumb is in the thumb hole.
