I do custom sewing, alterations and repairs services for running clothing and gear.
My sewing extend the life of your item, improves its function and prevent problems. I’m a runner, and I understand what runners put their gear through and I formulate functional real world solutions.
You got a hole or rip in your tights? I can mend it.

I could fit a golfball through this hole.

Now I can keep wearing it for years. You can see it in this light at this angle, but it disappears when I’m moving around and not zoomed in on it.
You got a broken zipper? I can fix it.
Even if it is on your hydration pack and it won’t fit on a sewing machine. Regular alterations shops won’t touch it. And, I would be worried if they did. I know how much that pack cost, let’s keep it out of the landfill and save you some money.
Want to customize your pack? I can do that.

It’s a great pack, but things fall out of the center pocket.

Adding a little pocket topper keeps everything secure.

And, it looks like it always belonged there.
Is something chafing? Let’s get that fixed!
I’m a runner, I understand the agony of stepping in the shower when a seam has been rubbing! A better fit and a smoother seam can make a world of difference and prevent significant pain.
Need a pocket? Add one!

This jacket didn’t come with pockets, but you wouldn’t know.
I can add a pocket to a jacket, or to almost anything else that needs one.

Here is another example where I added zipper pocket.
Custom sewing saves you money
Fix what you have and make it better. Improve real world performance. I have extremely reasonable rates, but I need to see your project and talk to you about it, that’s why I go to so many meet ups, races and limit my service area to the Sacramento to Auburn area. I’m part of the community and I realize how under served we are.
Contact me directly at achievementrandg@icloud.com so we can discuss your specific project. I give free estimates and free advice. I do all my own sewing, but if I can coach you through your own fix, that’s a win in my book.
